Snow in London
We woke up this morning to a wonderful winter wonderland. Overnight, it had snowed.
This is a picture of our house about 7am this morning.
The route to the train station was all snowy. With plenty of evidence of snow taken from cars for snow balls.

It was a real shame that it took nearly 3 hours to get to the office!
I am looking forward to try to get home !

Fing'ring'hoe !
Would you buy a beach house?
.... especially on the Essex coast line? We were down in Mersea on Saturday with friends and while waiting for our table at a little cabin that sells fresh seafood we took a walk down the beach.
It is was a blustery wintry January. There were lots of kite boarders (have to admit looked kind of cool) and some strong winds.
There seemed to have many people enjoying the day and big community of people who hang out on the beach. It was surprising considering the weather. But there were lots of people who live down there !
So, if you have a spare £15k, you can buy yourself a beach house - British style!

Being offline is like cold turkey!
We have finally moved house. Apart from all the stress and cost of the move, being off line at home is torture.
I have come to realise that we are so used to doing things immediately. And that we font pre-plan any more.
Case in point. We moved and needed to do a big food shop. How do you find where the nearest big supermarket is? And what time does it close?
Plus how do you get the phone number of an isp to get a new account?
Got to be gratefull that mobiles still work.
